Dear Reader,

One of the things I love most about this profession is that there’s always more to learn. As part of my ongoing curiosity and commitment to refining the JANMI Method, I recently completed training in Enhancing Rehabilitative Therapies with Vagus Nerve Stimulation.

As I delve deeper into the realm of soft tissue therapy, I'm increasingly fascinated by the potential of subtle work around the vagus nerve to enhance my current offerings. This could be a game-changer for clients dealing with chronic tension, stress-related pain, or postural fatigue, offering a new ray of hope in their healing journey.

A Quiet Yet Powerful System

The vagus nerve plays a crucial role in the body’s relaxation and recovery systems. It links the brain to the heart, lungs, gut and more—helping regulate everything from stress response to digestion. In our fast-paced, tech-heavy lives, this system can often become overwhelmed, keeping the body in a state of ongoing tension.

Understanding how to support this part of the nervous system—even in simple, indirect ways—adds another layer of depth to what soft tissue therapy can offer.

How This Fits Into the JANMI Method

The JANMI Method has always aimed to restore natural balance—not just in muscles, but in the way the body moves and responds to stress. This recent course offered some new perspectives on breathing, gentle release work in the neck and chest, and how these areas can influence broader nervous system tone.

I’ve already begun to integrate these concepts into my practice, exploring how they can amplify the calming and restorative effects of hands-on therapy, especially in JANMI Premium Reset sessions.

Why It Matters Now

Our modern lifestyle—fast, digital, and sedentary—places enormous demand on the body’s internal balance. I believe thoughtful, nature-inspired touch therapy still has a powerful role to play in restoring that balance.

This training reminded me again how subtle shifts—like a breath that reaches a little deeper—can sometimes bring the biggest change.

A Quiet Step Forward

I share this not as a breakthrough, but as another step in my personal journey as a therapist. I hope that the knowledge gained here will continue to shape how I listen, how I treat, and how I support each client’s unique path to feeling better in their body.

I'm deeply grateful for your continued support and involvement in this journey of growth and learning.

Warmly,

 Paulius Jurasius
